Another view of Johns Brook, with mountain ash in the foreground, this time taken near Johns Brook Lodge belonging to the Adirondack Mountain Club. This lodge bunks approximately 26 hikers; hot meals are provided during the summer season and the lodge is available on a caretaker basis at limited other times. Also nearby are ADK's Grace Camp and Camp Peggy O'Brien which are available year-around to private groups. Any of these facilities provide comfortable access to some of the best hiking in New York State.
